To sell goods efficiently online you need to be able to track your products, add products track orders, build customer databases, take multiple payments, add specials, organise shipping, and list goes on.
This is where "shopping cart" software comes in. It handles everything for you, and most of it is automatic, all you do is log on each day check your orders collect your money and post them off. Sounds great doesn't it.
We use and recommend a common shopping cart called "Oscommerce" It's a FREE piece of secure software developed by a large no. of users, and is still evolving to include new features. Oscommerce is used widely online and most users/customers are familiar with the layout and it's operation. If you have bought something online in the past there is a good chance you have used the Oscommerce interface before.
The cart is very easy to use and add products, change prices, add images etc. We also provide a telephone support line to help "talk" you through any issues or queries you may have in the day to day running of your new income generating online shop.
Whilst the software is free the costs involved are installing and customising the cart for your application. For a normal install of the Oscommerce shopping cart we charge a flat rate of $550 inc gst. This includes a general install of the software that allows you to do all of the above.
